We often start a new year thinking this time we’ll do it right – stress less, eat healthy, move more, worry less. But come February, many have given up. Long-term change requires a long-term mindset. So how do the best gear up to work towards a distant goal? How do you balance performance and recovery, pushing forward yet giving yourself some slack?
Join us for a session with Hintsa Performance and Dr. Anna Watkins on the science of setting yourself up for success.
While at Cambridge University, Anna took her first strokes in a rowing boat and fell in love with the sport. She won bronze in the 2008 Olympics, modified her approach to performance, training, and wellbeing, and went on to earn gold in the 2012 London Olympics. In this session, we dive into how that happened, what her training routines looked like – and what we can all learn about putting your mind to a goal and working towards it.
