Gartner moved into Technopolis Ruoholahti
Gartner, a leading research and advisory company, has found a new home for their Finnish team. After surveying the needs of their employees and exploring several options, they chose Technopolis Ruoholahti. The new space was optimized to support collaboration and interaction, while also providing much-needed everyday services.
Gartner sought a new office that supports its hybrid working mode, optimizing the footprint while offering all the required facilities and amenities that encourage collaborative work and creativity.
The process began with Gartner’s team leaders surveying the needs of the employees and visiting several possible office locations to find the space that best fitted those needs. After looking into several options in and around the city center of Helsinki, Technopolis Ruoholahti, which is easily accessible by both public transport and car, proved to be the best choice for Gartner’s team.
“The process was extremely smooth from start to finish. The existing office space was adapted to our needs and the way we work today with small renovations. We were also able to reuse furniture from our old office, which was a sustainable solution,” says Nicky Verkooij, Director of Real Estate Operations at Gartner.
”We are happy to hear such feedback from our customers, and very proud that our customers find it easy to deal with us. Changing the office space is a big decision and project for any company, and we aim to make the process as smooth as possible from start to finish,” says Petri Ikonen, Account Manager at Technopolis.
Switching to a serviced office was a key criterion in Gartner’s decision
A key factor in the decision was a private office with access to on-campus services. Gartner employees especially appreciate the corporate identity, access to meeting facilities, restaurants, parking options, and reception, which helps in welcoming visitors. From the viewpoint of workplace operations, having in-house services such as cleaning included in the package makes managing the location much easier.
Gartner’s private office space of 410 m2 is located on the second floor at Technopolis Ruoholahti, overlooking the Baltic Sea and offers a variety of amenities while having the flexibility to access the shared facilities of Technopolis. The new office has been well received and has brought people together.
“A fresh new space will help our colleagues collaborate face-to-face,” Verkooij concludes.
