Gründerhjørnet – promising entrepreneurs can now win a free office space at Technopolis Fornebu

Together with Bærum Chamber of Commerce, Technopolis Fornebu invites entrepreneurs to compete for free office space at Technopolis’ campus at Fornebu. The goal is to help more people succeed in the start-up phase, and to strengthen Norway's innovation capacity and competitiveness.

The office is a driver of idea exchange, professional development and social interaction. Unfortunately, not all start-ups can afford to rent offices, due to high interest rates and lack of funding.

Therefore, Technopolis Fornebu, in collaboration with Bærum Chamber of Commerce, has established "Gründerhjørnet", where promising entrepreneurs and start-ups have the chance to win a free office space for the duration of 6 months.

In addition to an office space in Gründerhjørnet, which is located on Technopolis Fornebu campus, SpareBank 1 Østlandet will provide free financial advice to the winners. Bærum Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with StartUp Asker and Bærum, also offers guidance and establishment courses to the winners of the office space.

The applications will be evaluated by a jury that makes the final selection. The jury consists of Business Manager in Bærum Municipality Eli Haugerud, Head of Bærum Chamber of Commerce Aksel Aanonsen, Senior Business Manager at SpareBank 1 Østlandet Rigmor Jørgensen and Alf Astrup, Business Unit Director of Technopolis Fornebu.
