Joonas Mäkipeska appointed as Chief Financial and Strategy Officer of Technopolis
Joonas Mäkipeska has been appointed as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer and Member of the Group Management Team (GMT) of Technopolis as of August 14, 2023. He will report directly to CEO Niko Pulli.
In addition, Heli Matero has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Finance, and will continue as a Member of the Group Management Team.
In his role as Chief Financial and Strategy Officer Mäkipeska will work to ensure that Technopolis maintains its strong market position in the future by further developing the company’s finance function and its role in supporting the business.
Mäkipeska has an extensive and versatile background in various financial leadership roles. He has previously worked as the CFO of Holiday Club Resorts, Sponda and ALD Automotive. Mäkipeska holds a master’s degree in Economic Sciences from the Helsinki School of Economics.
