SOTI is a global leader in innovative solutions for mobile device management, serving clients such as PostNord and Coop. In recent years, the company has grown both internationally and in Sweden. When SOTI moved to Technopolis Ullevi in 2020, it had 15 employees working in the office. Over the coming years, the company plans to expand its workforce even more, which is why a new office space was needed. SOTI and Technopolis worked closely together to find new, suitable premises on the Ullevi campus, and in November this year, SOTI will almost double the size of its office space to 635 sqm, which will accommodate up to 50 employees.
In addition to its operations in Sweden, SOTI operates in the global market with customers all over the world who rely on the company’s technology to gain an overview and control of their mobile operations.
For SOTI, the need for a larger workspace has been the most important factor in the move to the new premises on Technopolis’ campus. The company’s goal is to double its business and workforce over the next five years. In addition to a larger workspace, SOTI also needed more meeting and conference rooms to be able to receive more customers from new markets and industries at their office.
“First and foremost, we needed room for expansion. As mentioned, the idea is to double our workforce over the coming years, so that was obviously the number one priority. It was also important that there were enough meeting and conference rooms and that our technical support team had a separate space for meeting customers and partners without distractions. The new office will be an incredible boost in many ways. Here, we feel that we can grow,” says Stefan Spendrup, North and West Europe Manager at SOTI.
For Technopolis, SOTI’s expansion within the Ullevi campus is the ultimate proof that the company can adapt to and be flexible based on customers’ needs.
“We are happy to see our customers grow their businesses and at the same time, we are proud of the trust shown by including us in their expansion journey. SOTI moved in with us just over three years ago and is a good example of a customer who has undergone an exciting development journey. During this time, their needs have changed, and we have been able to develop our collaboration and meet their needs. We are extremely pleased to have earned their trust,” says Johan Herner, Business Unit Director at Technopolis Ullevi in Gothenburg.
“We are very happy with Technopolis. The premises are great and fit our needs perfectly. The communication with Technopolis is also good, and they have been responsive and very accommodating from the start. Our contact person is available for both significant and minor matters and has helped us adapt the premises so that we can grow in Sweden in the best possible way,” Spendrup states.
