Technopolis goes against the grain in Kista – investing in new office HUB

To meet the growing demand for flexible and high-quality spaces for smaller teams and companies, Technopolis has opened a second, new 1,000-square-meter HUB area at the Kista campus. The HUB is tailored for smaller offices, and half of the spaces were already rented before the opening in early May.

"We are seeing strong demand. Before the opening, we had already rented out just over 50 percent of the space. Our small office areas have been popular in other markets as well, with most of them fully occupied since the start. The first HUB area on the Kista campus was also rented out quickly. This shows that there is a real need for smaller office spaces with quality services, also here in Kista," says Anders Lindskog, Senior Asset Manager at Technopolis Kista.

With its investment in the new HUB and smaller offices, Technopolis aims to offer a concept that combines the benefits of communal working with the privacy and exclusivity many companies are looking for today. Customers have their own private office space, while also being able to use the HUB area’s shared facilities, such as telephone rooms, kitchen, and lounge areas. In addition, campus services, including reception, conference rooms, and a gym, are available to HUB customers.

"The demand for smaller offices with services and high flexibility is clear, especially among companies with growing teams. We’ve seen that many people want an office solution that combines scalable flexibility with quality and sustainability," continues Anders Lindskog.

The new HUB, Technopolis’ second HUB area in Kista, features a high standard in both layout and furnishings, including modern kitchenettes and sustainable materials. The design has been developed by Technopolis’ own interior design experts, and construction is being handled by the company’s long-term partner, Ovidius.

In addition to modern and flexible office space, Technopolis provides its customers a wide range of services designed to make the workday smoother and more sustainable. At the campus customers have access to bicycle parking, a gym, and charging stations for electric cars. The Kista campus is also easily accessible by public transportation.
